Biography
As an Information Technology major, I have always been fascinated by the constantly evolving landscape of technology. However, it is in the field of cybersecurity that my passion truly lies. In today's interconnected world, cybersecurity is of paramount importance. I am driven by the challenge of keeping pace with the latest threats and technologies and by the opportunity to protect sensitive information from malicious attacks. My goal is to build a career in cybersecurity, where I can continue to learn, grow, and positively impact society.
Projects
PocketMentor (IT Business Process, UI/UX)
One of my recent achievements is developing PocketMentor, a comprehensive career prep app that consolidates data-driven information on jobs, mentors, companies, and salaries for students. As someone who understands the importance of informed decision-making, I aimed to provide a user-friendly platform that empowers students to make informed choices about their future career paths. Additionally, I designed and developed a high-fidelity prototype for a mobile app interface, utilizing tools such as Sketch and Figma. This allowed me to visualize and refine the user experience, resulting in a sleek and intuitive interface that enhances the usability of PocketMentor. Overall, I am proud to have created a tool that can help students take their first steps towards achieving their professional goals.

One of my recent programming projects involved designing and developing a Duck Hunt-inspired game from scratch using Java. This project allowed me to exercise my creativity and programming skills by creating game mechanics, graphics, and user interface (UI) elements that brought the game to life. I utilized object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and Java libraries to implement game logic, including player input, game states, and animations. This project required much attention to detail and the ability to work through complex problems and debug issues in the code. I am proud of the end result and feel that this project showcases my skills as a Java developer.

As a Python programmer, I have gained proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks by utilizing external libraries such as TextBlob to analyze text data. Specifically, I have utilized TextBlob's built-in sentiment analysis capabilities to determine polarity and subjectivity scores of text data, which provides insights on the sentiment of the text and individual sentences. This requires not only a deep understanding of NLP concepts but also expertise in pip management, package installation, and working with external libraries. Overall, I am confident in my ability to leverage the power of Python and NLP techniques to derive meaningful insights from textual data.
